STANDARD 22 mm EUROPEAN THREADS, COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE "KARCHER THREAD". VERY POPULAR, IT FITS MANY MAKES OF WASHER, HOSE, & TRIGGERS. 

THIS IS TO FIT TO THE MACHINE OUTLET OF A HANDFUL OF KARCHER HD, AND HDS MODELS WHICH HAVE AN APPROX 5mm BLANK, START TO THE THREAD, SO YOU'RE NOT ABLE TO FIT A STANDARD HOSE.
