The PanBlast™ Corsa II Abrasive Metering Valve has been developed from the Series I valve, to provide even greater reliability and efficiency.
The PanBlast™ Series II Corsa Valve is a normally closed abrasive metering valve requiring a pilot compressed air signal to open it, which then permits abrasive flow. The Series II Corsa Valve may be used on both pressure hold and pressure release blast pots.
When used on pressure hold, multiple outlet pots, the Corsa II Valve permits each operator to blast totally independent of each other.
When used with pressure release blast pots, the Corsa II Valve prevents the blast hose filling with abrasive each time the pot is depressurized.
Reinforced PA66 Nylon / Fiber control knob which eliminates any premature cracking and are impact resistant.
Simplified body arrangement allowing the entire control knob and plunger assembly to be removed as a one piece item for ease of serviceability, no need to remove the valve from the blast pot to service.
Case hardened abrasive metering plunger.
Polyurethane precision casted abrasive sleeve and P/U casted plunger sleeves, allows for precise fitting.
Externally clamped case hardened pipe nipple, this greatly reduces premature internal wear occurring at the point where the traditional mounting bolts are positioned in the Fina I valve.
Case hardened pipe connection nipple to 57HRC providing a durable service life.
Large 25mm (1”) abrasive drain out pot & plug assembly.
Graduation markings on the valve stem allow for precise setting of the abrasive flow by the blasting operator.
Valves are finished externally in Blue DuPont powder coating system
